Kay has 23 years of successful professional fundraising experience and has worked with numerous non-profits and congregations.

She is passionate about helping entities fund their mission through excellent annual giving programs, financial feasibility studies, and capital campaigns, as well as creating customized approaches that fit the particular character of an organization to help them define or refine vision and goals. Her expertise also includes guidance for teams that shepherd the detailed process for a building purchase, new construction or renovations. Workshops on appreciative inquiry, leadership, getting comfortable talking about money, generosity and giving, living our values through philanthropy and more, round out Kay’s portfolio.

Kay brings first hand knowledge of knowledge of good process as well as strong interpersonal skills to help entities manage their stewardship programs.  She has served on many committees and boards, most recently as Board President of the Eliot Institute. Kay also has more than a decade of experience teaching graduate courses for the business school at the University of Oregon.
