General Assembly Immigration Justice Practitioners Gathering
Join UURISE, UUSC, UUA and Side with Love staff and colleagues talking about challenges, opportunities and what's moving locally, at the state level, and nationally to protect, defend and fortify immigrant communities.

Join us to for a conversation talking about:

What is the specific and unique role of faith communities to flank, resource and support immigrant-led justice work?
How can we harness enthusiasm and commitment of physical Sanctuary to move more people into sustained, expansive work in support of immigrant-led organizing?
Where can we better expand congregations understanding of ICE as a tool of the larger police state?
What have we learned and can be shared about accompaniment networks?
We'll explore ways that we can build the courage of our spiritual communities to take risks and deepen our resistance and our faith.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 20 4:30-6:00pm
WHERE: Room 2207 at the Kansas City Convention Center
