The UNFCCC COP25 will be in Santiago, Chile from Dec 2-13th, 2019. UU-UNO, UUSC and UUMFE are calling on Unitarian Universalists who wish to register as an Observer under the UU-UNO Observer Status to complete this application. Like previous COP's, space for NGO/CSO observers in the formal negotiation zone (a.k.a. closed zone) is very limited. Therefore, selection of delegates will be based on how much quota we are allocated and how your responses to the questions below align with the selection criteria.
*Please note that COP25 is a two zone COP - an open zone (open to everyone) and closed zone (open to registered delegates only). If we do not have sufficient space to register you as a delegate, you will still be able to travel to Chile and access the open zone. Besides these recognized COP spaces, you will also be free to attend workshops and events that will be happening in public spaces all over Santiago. All applicants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and meal costs.
Applications are open for 1 week only (Aug 5th - Aug 12th, 2019). Late applications will only be considered if space is still available.
