Congregational Zoom Program?

The UUA has negotiated with Zoom, a videoconferencing provider, to provide congregations with a Business Level license for $130 per license per year. Typically these licenses are only available if you order at least 10; through this program you may order as few or as many as you need. These will be sub-accounts of the UUA and must be paid annually.

Renewals

You can renew your account(s) without changes to the number of licenses you have via UUA Congregatoinal Zoom Licenses.

If you plan to renew by check, contact zoomhelp@uua.org for details.
For renewals involving changes to the number of licenses you have, please contact zoomhelp@uua.org as we’ll need to manually make the adjustments in our system before you login to submit payment.

Licenses are currently $130 annually and any licenses purchased after the start of the billing cycle will be prorated accordingly. Going forward all UUA licensed Zoom accounts will renew annually on March 1st.

Sign Up for Zoom Licenses

To sign up to participate in this program, please complete the online form. Your congregation will be contacted by our zoom support team to verify your congregation actually signed up before we finalize the arrangements. Once we receive confirmation from the congregation it will take up to five business days to process this. Do note, we will not add you to our program until we receive your payment.

Moving Existing Annual Paid Zoom Accounts

Unfortunately, Zoom does not support transfer of annual licenses to the UUA and does not issue pro-rated refunds. When your current term ends with Zoom, you can switch to the UUA Business license at that time. You can set up new accounts now if you wish to add additional licenses.

If you have a paid monthly with 10 or more licenses, please contact the Zoom Help Desk at zoomhelp@uua.org . before completing this form. Larger existing accounts require that we work more closely with Zoom.

A single business license (normally sold in a set of 10). These will be sub-accounts of the UUA.

How Much Does It Cost?

We’re Fair Share, Don’t We Get a Discount?

In coordination with Zoom, the UUA is able to make this subscription based service available to all UU congregations regardless if they are fair share or not. The UUA adds a small administrative fee to offset our own expenses, but is not using this program to generate income.

What Is Not Included?

Some features that require administrative rights are not available unless the congregation want's administrative access. To gain this access, email zoomhelp@uua.org.

Can I Get an Individual Account?

No, Our agreement with Zoom specifies that we will only sell licenses to congregations.

No, it is not. Zoom Webinar is a different program that costs a lot more. It is possible to use Zoom Meeting in a webinar-like format. Peter Bowden created a video comparing the two and talks about the options.
